The seat unit of the Vibe is suitable for your baby from birth through to becoming a toddler or a baby cocoon is available. Ideal for a baby and an older sibling, the vibe is available in black or a striking red but a range of coloured seat pads are available at extra cost. This eye catching pushchair has all the safety features unique to Phil and Ted among many others and a clear advantage of this pushchair over others is that the versatility and ability to use as a double pushchair then convert to a single once your toddler prefers to walk.
The Phil and Teds Vibe is a versatile all terrain inline travel system and the company pay attention to detail when it comes to the safety of the children. As with other Phil and Ted pushchairs the seats have a five point, padded harness for extra safety. Unlike some safety harnesses you don’t have to worry about clicking both sides in at the same time which makes it less complicated for the parent. The shoulder straps are easily adjusted and can come through any one of three slots best suited to the height and build of the child. There is a zip on the front side of the hood to enable you to attach the sun cover or all weather cover for protection from the elements.
The Vibe is fitted with a three position, padded handle which makes it easy and comfortable to push for the majority of adults whether it is in single or double mode and the single bar makes it easy to steer with one hand. The front locking wheel is perfect for tight spaces and bumpy terrain. The Vibe is easy to fold and can be folded with the toddler seat attached (as long as it is in the upright position) which is useful to the parent. The pushchair is fitted with fold locks, which means, everything must be in the correct position before it can be collapsed.
The air filled tyres make the Vibe an ideal pushchair for a walk in the countryside on bumpy roads without compromising on your children’s comfort. The front swivel wheel makes it easy to push and manoeuvre which can be sometimes difficult with double pushchairs. The Vibe is easily collapsed for travel. It has a travel bag with luggage wheels and a drag handle. The travel bag fits both the single Vibe and the doubles kit. A travel system car seat converter kit enables a car seat to be attached to the pram when in singles mode only. It is compatible with several car seats making trips in the car quick and easy.
As with any double pushchair the Vibe with doubles unit attached is rather large however lightweight frame does make it one of the lightest double travel systems available. When folded it is possible to remove the wheels to fit into the smallest of spaces but it is recommended to check the dimensions against that of any storage space/car boot before purchasing.
Phil and Ted have made a range of accessories compatible with the Vibe (most at additional cost). An infant cocoon for a newborn as well as a range of coloured, cushy ride liners and cosy toes are available along with a variety of single and double sun and rain covers. As with most of Phil and Ted’s travel systems cup/ bottle holders and food trays are available but arguably one of the most uncommon features of the Vibe is that the ‘Lazyted’ attaches to the toddler seat to enable the toddler seat to be used separately as an infant bouncer seat.

It is easily manoeuvred with one hand thanks to the front swivel wheel which is lockable and its easy grip, three position handle. Unlike some others the seat unit of the Vibe is equipped with a recline function and an adequate safety harness to ensure that any child using it is safe and comfortable at all times. There is a decent space between the two seats which is great for the child in the rear seat. This highly fashionable yet practical three wheel, tandem travel system is definitely a great option to consider.
